On 6th, August 1972 the parents of Dr. M.R. Srivatsan, who are, Dr. M.R. Radhakrishnan and Dr. Mrs. Chanchala Radhakrishnan founded “Victory Homoeo Clinic” at Malleswaram, 5th Cross, opp. to Geetanjali Talkies, Bangalore 560003. Both created a landmark in spreading awareness about Homoeopathy covering almost every nook and corner of Bangalore. Due to non-availability of Homoeopathic Medicines in Bangalore, Dr. M.R.Radhakrishnan started a pharmacy – ‘Victory Homoeo Pharmacy’ by stocking all frequently used and rare remedies for their practice. By 1973 Victory Homoeo Pharmacy became well-known for being the sole distributor of Homoeopathic Medicines for the whole of Karnataka State. Victory Homoeo Pharmacy became synonymous with quality and efficiency. Victory Homoeo Clinic became well renowned for its approach of classical case-taking and result-oriented Homoeopathic Practice adopted by both Dr. M.R. Radhakrishnan and Dr. Mrs. Chanchala Radhakrishnan.

 

As the demand for Homoeopathy increased Dr M.R. Radhakrishnan opened another branch –“Victory Homoeo Clinic and Pharmacy” at Subedra Chatram Road in Majestic during 1977. The awareness of the efficacy and positive treatment of Homoeopathy spread to the business class in Majestic, Chickpet, Cottonpet, Avenue Road, and all other surrounding areas in and around Majestic.

To continue the legacy and traditional Homoeopathic Practice, Dr M.R. Srivatsan the second son of Dr. M.R. Radhakrishnan completed his degree in Homoeopathy during 1985 from A.M. Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Belgaum and joined his practice with his parents. In 1987 Dr.M.R.Srivatsan married Sangeeta Ramdas who later became the Administrator. Mrs. Sangeeta Srivatsan is also a practicing Diet and Nutrition at Malleswaram Branch.

During the early years of his practice in 1987 Dr M.R.Srivatsan lost his father Dr. M.R. Radhakrishnan in an untimely death due to MI, that was a very great loss for him. Dr.M.R.Srivatsan’s brother M.R. Sukumar and Wife Mrs Neela Sukumar started to take care of the Majestic Branch.

In 1988 Dr M.R Srivatsan introduced computerized practice – Case taking through the use of the Computer. Dr. M.R Srivatsan is the first Homoeopath to start a Computerized Homoeopathic Clinic in Karnataka. During this time he came across a very knowledgeable software engineer from Mumbai who develop a software for Homoeopaths called Polycrest. Dr. M.R.Srivatsan is the 1st Homoeopath to invite the software engineer to Bangalore. In each of his demonstrations, Dr. M.R. Srivatsan suggested various improvements resulting in the Software becoming very user friendly to Homoeopaths now called as Stimulare.

Dr. M.R.Srivatsan‘s mother Dr Mrs Chanchala Radhakrishnan was felicitated with “Hahnemann Gold Medal” in the year 1994, for her yeomen service through Homoeopathy, by the Dept. of AYUSH, Govt. of Karnataka. They then practiced together in Malleswaram Branch and Majestic Branch. To expand the premises of Malleswaram branch they started a unit on the 1st floor.

During this time, Dr Mrs Chanchala Radhakrishnan while practicing suddenly had a Ischemia of the Brain and she passed away in 2003 on ‘Womens Day’. To remember both of them and to continue their traditional Homoeopathic Practice a Research foundation as C.R. Homoeopathic Research Foundation was started on the 1st floor in the year 2005.

Dr. M.R. Srivatsan joined Sonajirao Kshirsagar Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Beed, Maharashtra affiliated under Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathawada University at Aurangabad and completed his Post-Graduation in 2005.

Dr. M.R Srivatsan is blessed with two sons. To continue the traditional service through Homoeopathy his elder Son Dr Rohit Srivatsan, completed his degree in Homoeopathy at Alvas Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital at Moodbidri in 2012. He joined Sri Sai Nath Post Graduate Institute of Homoeopathy at Allahabad, U.P. and completed his Post-Graduation in Homoeopathy in 2015.

Dr. Rohit Srivatsan, M.D. (Hom) is the 3rd generation Homoeopath in Victory. As he joined Dr. M.R.Srivatsan, Dr Rohit started to specialize in Diabetes and Thyroid related problems and the Clinic was renamed from “Victory Homoeo Clinic” to “Victory Homoeo Speciality Clinic”.

Dr. Rohit Srivatsan, M.D. (Hom) started a new branch at Marathahalli to create awareness and provide Homoeopathic treatment to that part of the town. Dr Premkiran who studied along with him joined them at Marathahalli Branch of “Victory Homoeo Speciality Clinic. Bangalore became polluted in means of disease and traffic. It was very difficult to travel from Malleswaram, and the roads were dug up for various reasons. They were forced to wind it up.

During 2016, a new branch of “Victory Homoeo Speciality Clinic” was started at Sahakarnagar, opp. to Basketball Court.

Brief profile of Dr. M R Srivatsan’s medi-political career:

During 1992, Dr M.R. Srivatsan became the President of The Homoeopathic Medical Association of India, Karnataka State Branch, he then along with his team organized various Workshops, Seminars and Conferences annually. He is instrumental in conducting the first ever Teachers training program for all Homoeopathic Medical College Teachers across India at New Delhi. He along with his team has been successful in organizing Homoeopathy Day Rally in Bangalore every year.

During 1994, Dr M.R. Srivatsan contested election from the State of Karnataka to Central Council of Homoeopathy, Dept. of Indian Systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy, Govt. of India, and won in thumping majority, he represented the State of Karnataka, and had been holding the Post of Executive Member for almost 15 years. He served in the Central Council of Homoeopathy for 22 years. He also got successfully elected to the Karnataka Board of Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Dept. of Indian Systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy, Govt. of Karnataka for 3 consecutive period, he served in the Board for 15 years.

Dr. M.R. Srivatsan, M.D. (Hom) by virtue of being the only elected member to the Central Council of Homoeopathy, he was nominated as the Senate Member to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Karnataka, and served in the University for 12 years.

Dr M.R. Srivatsan, M.D. (Hom) is well known and recognised for his skills in organising Seminars and Conferences, he always loved to be the Master of Ceremony, during 2017, at Rohtak, Haryana, he has been awarded as “Voice of CCH”.

Currently, Dr. M.R. Srivatsan M.D. (Hom) has been recognised of his services in the Council, Board and University, and has been nominated as Expert Committee member to the National Commission for Homoeopathy in the BERH committee, Dept. of AYUSH, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, in November 2021.

Recently Dr. M.R. Srivatsan, M.D. (Hom) has been recognised for his 37 years of services through Homoeopathy and was conferred with a State Award “Suvarna Kannadiga” Karnataka Rajya Prashasthi at Ravindra Kalashketra on 31st Dec 2021.

Dr Rohit Srivatsan, M.D. (Hom), Medical Director of C.R. Homoeopathic Research Foundation has made remarkable research in treating successfully cases of Diabetes, Hypothyroid, Hyperthyroid, PCOD, Chronic Renal Failure cases, Cirrhosis of Liver and many more chronic diseases.

Dr Rohit Srivatsan M.D. (Hom) has presented his successful practice on various platforms both State and National level Seminars and Conferences, his recent paper presentation was at All India Homoeopathic Conference, Patna.

Dr Rohit Srivatsan M.D. (Hom) has a keen interest in teaching, he is teaching as Asst. Professor in the Dept. of Surgery at Bhagwan Buddha Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Bangalore. His teaching skills are very unique and the students are been benefited by this.

Dr Rohit Srivatsan married Sneha in 2014 and is blessed with a son Sushant who is now 5 1/2yrs old.

Dr. M.R. Srivatsan, M.D. (Hom) second son CA Roshan Srivatsan is a Chartered Accountant and is working at E&Y as a Consultant. CA Roshan Srivatsan married Meghasri in 2020.

Mrs Sangeeta Srivatsan is still practicing Diet and Nutrition at Victory Homoeo Speciality Clinic.

During the Covid time, “Victory Homoeo Speciality Clinic never closed and has been treating Post Covid patients very successfully and providing immunity booster recommended by Dept. of AYUSH, Govt. of India to thousands of people.

“Victory Homoeo Speciality Clinic” this year will be celebrating it’s Golden Jubilee 50 years of Service through Homoeopathy. A famous traditional Homoeopathic treatment is provided for almost all ailments. The case taking which was adopted by Dr Mrs Chanchala Radhakrishnan has been very effective even now. The art of case taking inculcated in ‘Victory’ is unique by itself which is shown through the results and lakhs of patients are benefited and are satisfied by our approach.
